The company Ralu doo Beograd has purchased and took over the operations of the the company Logistic Team Sekulic. By taking over the warehouses, Ralu doo Beograd signed with Logisoft a Contract of support for WMS, which was implemented in 2007. The new owner introduces new operational processes, which require modifications of the existing WMS system.
One year after implementation and successful use of BelWMS package, distribution center of Meggle in Posušje, has doubled its storage capacity. Capacity expansion and changes in business processes also required changes to the BelWMS package in the form of changing the strategy of goods arrangement in the warehouses, reservation of goods, transport optimization and processing of orders.
Another successful integration of BelWMS system in distribution center of the company Meggle in Split, which is very similar to the functionality of the distribution center in Zagreb, but with much smaller storage capacity. Special feature of this center are so called orders for ambulance, by which the goods go out of the warehouse, are sold to local shops and in the end, goods that are not distributed, are returned to the warehouse. As it was the case with a distribution center in Zagreb, this center gets goods from the production center in Osijek.
Putting into operation of this center completes BelWMS system implementation in Croatia.
By implementing WMS in Meggle dairy in Osijek and distribution center in Zagreb, Logisoft has completed the final phase of the introduction of BelWMS system in regional centers operated by Meggle. For the purposes of Meggle Croatia, modules and functionality that have already been implemented in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina were further customized .
Also, the characteristic of this part of the project was the communication with the ERP system SAP, that is in use in Croatia. Development and implementation of communication interface is done in cooperation with company S&T from Zagreb.
Logisoft has finished the integration of the Meggle BiH BELWMS project, and officially submitted the project documentation to its new owners. Meggle business system in Bosnia and Herzegovina consist of two physically separated operational centers, which are related by their working process and cannot function separately, regardless the mutual distance. The BELWMS was launched in production and distribution center Meggle ltd Bihać and in distribution center Meggle ltd Posušje.
The BELWMS modules and functionality that were integrated into the BELWMS version for Meggle Serbia were also made available to the users of the BELWMS in Meggle ltd Bihać and Meggle ltd Posušje in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Addition to the BelWMS for Bosnia and Herzegovina was a submodule in the the BELWMS communication module, developed for communication between two BELWMS instances in two separated Meggle centers. This was necessary because of the need for the data exchange between two centers and two instances of WMS, which are used for goods manipulation and warehouse operations.
As well as in Serbia, part of the project was communication interface with Aurasoft ERP system.
Meggle production and distribution center in Kragujevac, Serbia, Meggle ltd Serbia got its version of BELWMS, developed for specific processes of this production center. Meggle Serbia consists of production and distribution center, in the factory area, where the central warehouse is located, and the remote warehouse, outpost, basically, two centers which are working under the same instance of the BELWMS.
This situation made us develop comunication submodule needed for data exchange between these two warehouses, so the users can work as if they were in the same location. In Meggle Serbia, Logisoft has released the BELWMS version, containing number of modules and services that are an integral part of the system including LPView - module for production monitoring and recording. It is used for exact and precise counting of production volume, where the production is planned by specific production order, and it's also used as a product's entry point to warehouse and the WMS.
As a part of the project communication interface with Aurasoft ERP system was developed.
Major global producer of milk and dairy products Meggle, have chosen Logisoft for the realization of project of installing warehouse management system in Meggle warehouses in the Balkans. In this project, Logisoft will integrate BelWMS - in Croatia, Osijek, as well as two regional centers in Zagreb and Split. Also, Logisoft will implement WMS in Bosnia i Herzegovina in the centers Posušje and Bihac, and finally, Kragujevac, Serbia.
In addition to the integration of WMS Logisoft has the assignment to connect its WMS to the ERP systems that Meggle uses, by new version of communication modul. There are two different kind of ERP systems in Meggle, Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina are using AuraSoft, and Croatia has SAP.
Logisoft signed a contract with the Galeb Group ltd from Šabac, Serbia. Logisoft is going to install BELWMS in Galeb groups central distribution warehouse in Šabac.
Expo Commerce, Kotor Montenegro opened a regional warehouse in Bijelo Polje, Montenegro, while Logisoft completed the integration of its WMS in the warehouse. Logisoft also developed a new version of communication module, specially made for Expo Commerce, that enables communication between regional warehouse in Bijelo Polje and central warehouse in Kotor.
Gomex ltd, company from Zrenjanin, Serbia is expanding its market. Gomex chilled warehouse center for the distribution and processing the goods made out of fresh meat and meat products is open for business. Logisoft has developed and integrated the WMS system, tailor-made for Gomex new warehouse center, which includes a system of measuring units (scales), connected to touch screen computers, containing new Logisoft application LogScale, integrated into the WMS system. Meat is measured with the measuring units, connected to LogScale, which doesn't leave space for errors while working in the warehouse. The scales are there for measuring and recording weight.
